SEPTEMBER
DLCC Booth and Canine Good Neighbor Testing at Beeton Fair
Where: Community Park Fairgrounds in Beeton, Ontario
When: Saturday September 13, 2008
Time: CGN testing start time will be announced soon
Cost: $35.00 per dog for testing plus a small entrance fee to the fair
Event Info: The DLCC will be hosting a Canine Good Neighbor testing day at the Beeton Fair. All purebred and non-purebred dogs may enter CGN tests but must be 6 months of age or older! Also remember that all dogs MUST be on leash so as to comply with municipal leashing by-laws. In the past year the Town of New Tecumseth implemented a half price reduction to dog tag costs for dogs with a Canine Good Neighbour Certificate!

DLCC Booth at The Independent Pet Supply store
Where: The Independent Pet Supply, 730 Main Street West, Port Colborne, Ontario

Event Info: The Independent Pet Supply store will be hosting a customer appreciation day complete with the Nutram Event trailer supplying a free BBQ and plus handing out free samples of dog food, Bridget's Laundro Mutt will be offering free nail clips, North Shore Training will be doing a dog training demo and the DLCC will be having a booth loaded with goodies!

Event Info: This is our appeal court date for the legal challenge against Ontario's "pit bull" ban. We welcome folks to attend with this reminder that it is an Ontario Court and as such, we expect visitors to behave appropriately and respectfully towards the Magistrate. The public is welcome to come watch, listen and learn...these are your tax dollars at work whether you agree or disagree with the ban, and whether you have donated to the legal challenge or not.

Event Info: The DLCC will be hosting a booth at the CKC Purina Nationals! Three conformation shows, 2 obedience trials and one Rally obedience trial, this weekend is sure to be action packed. This is the premier show of the Canadian Kennel Club show season with the best of the best coming out to compete! Come cheer on your favourite and don't forget to stop by our booth and get some cool swag!
